The Kent Hills 3 Wind Project is a 17.25 MW expansion to the Kent Hills 1 & 2 wind farms, which will bring the total maximum capacity to 167.25 MW. The Project consists of 5 additional wind turbines, to the existing 50 turbines. Construction of the roads for Kent Hills 3 began in late April 2018 with turbine deliveries beginning late July and erection and COD achieved October 17, 2018. Turbine component delivery is easy due to the project’s close proximity to a sea port.
